Job Description

We are hiring Responsible Managing Employees to qualify trade division licenses at Truly Tough Contractors and oversee CSLB compliance across the active work in each division. Multiple open classifications.

Responsible Managing Employee

This is a full-time, in-house Responsible Managing Employee role. Under California Business and Professions Code section 7068.1, the Responsible Managing Employee is the bona fide employee who qualifies a contractor's license classification, exercises direct supervision and control over the qualifying trade, and bears legal responsibility for CSLB compliance on that division's work. This is a real operational role, not a paper arrangement. The Responsible Managing Employee works on-site or in the field, directs jobs, reviews permits and inspections, and supports the division with the experience that comes from holding the license.

Truly Tough Contractors operates multiple trade divisions across the Coachella Valley, and we have open Responsible Managing Employee positions in several classifications. Compensation is competitive for the responsibility and time commitment involved, and we are open to conversations about role structure based on the candidate's current license and experience.
