We are hiring an experienced Marketing Specialist to develop and manage campaigns, lead generation, and brand outreach across all divisions of Truly Tough Contractors. This is an in-person role at our Palm Springs office.

Marketing Specialist - Palm Springs, CA

This is a full-time in-office position for a marketing specialist who runs end-to-end digital campaigns and owns the lead flow from first click to booked job. Truly Tough Contractors operates multiple divisions across roofing, concrete, flooring, fencing, drywall, painting, pools, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and solar, and each division has its own search intent, ad targeting, and seasonal demand curve. Specialists who thrive here balance SEO, paid media, local search, and content production with the discipline to track, report, and iterate on the numbers every week. What You Will Do

Core Responsibilities
SEO strategy and execution Technical, on-page, and local SEO across the Truly Tough domain. Keyword research, content briefs, on-page optimization, and local landing page builds for each service city.
Google Ads and PPC Build, launch, and optimize Google Ads campaigns across divisions. Manage budget pacing, search term quality, landing page experience, and conversion tracking.
Local Service Ads (LSA) Set up and optimize Google Local Service Ads across all qualifying service categories. Manage verification, bidding strategy, and lead quality review.
Google Business Profile and Map Pack Manage and optimize GBP listings for Palm Springs and surrounding service cities. Post updates, manage reviews, and drive Map Pack visibility.
Meta Ads Build and run Facebook and Instagram campaigns for lead generation, remarketing, and brand awareness across divisions.
Content and blog Plan, write, edit, and publish blog content that supports SEO and builds authority for each service division. Coordinate with field experts for technical accuracy.
Lead tracking and CRM Own the lead flow from first click through booked job. Tag sources, track conversion rates, identify drop-offs, and coordinate with sales to close the loop.
Reporting and iteration Build weekly and monthly reports tracking cost per lead, cost per job, channel performance, and attribution. Turn numbers into decisions.

Marketing Channels You Will Run

Experience across multiple channels is helpful and in most cases required. Local SEO, LSA management, and lead tracking are the skills where qualified specialists are hardest to find locally.

Channels and Tools
SEO Technical, on-page, and local SEO. Keyword research, content strategy, structured data, and local landing pages across multiple service cities.
Google Ads / PPC Search, Performance Max, and display campaigns. Budget management, keyword and search term review, negative lists, and landing page optimization.
Google Local Service Ads LSA setup, background check coordination, bidding, dispute management, and lead quality review across qualifying divisions.
Google Business Profile Listing optimization, post scheduling, Q and A, review management, and Map Pack strategy for each service area.
Meta Ads Facebook and Instagram campaigns across lead gen, remarketing, and brand. Creative testing, audience building, and conversion API setup.
Blog and Content Editorial calendar, keyword-driven content planning, writing, editing, and publishing. SEO-optimized articles and service pages with strong conversion flow.
Lead Tracking and CRM Source tagging, call tracking, form tracking, and conversion attribution. CRM administration for lead routing from capture through close.
Analytics and Reporting Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, and dashboarding tools. Clear weekly reporting and monthly deep-dives that tell the story and drive decisions.
Local SEO, LSA, and end-to-end lead tracking stands out. Verifiable experience running local multi-city campaigns significantly strengthens your application.

What We Require From You

  • Minimum 5 years of digital marketing or lead generation experience. Hard minimum.
  • Hands-on experience across multiple channels, with preference for SEO, Google Ads, Local Service Ads, Google Business Profile, Meta Ads, and content marketing.
  • Strong analytical skills, including comfort with Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, and building clear reports that drive decisions.
  • Proven lead tracking experience from capture through booked job, including source attribution and CRM coordination.
  • Clean written communication for blog content, ad copy, service pages, and internal reports.
  • Ability to work in-person at our 180 W Oasis Rd office in Palm Springs during standard business hours.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

What Sets Strong Applicants Apart

  • Home services or contractor marketing experience, especially multi-division or multi-city campaigns.
  • Strong Local Service Ads track record, including lead dispute history and category expansion.
  • Technical SEO skills, including structured data, Core Web Vitals, and site architecture.
  • Google Ads certifications (Search, Performance Max, Display) and Meta Blueprint credentials.
  • Portfolio of blog content with measurable organic traffic or ranking results.
  • Experience with CRM and lead tracking tools like GoHighLevel, CallRail, or comparable platforms.
  • Bilingual English and Spanish.
  • Comfort using AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, and similar) to draft, research, and speed up execution.
