We are hiring an experienced Concrete Installer and Finisher to pour, form, and finish concrete on residential projects across the Coachella Valley.

Concrete Installer and Finisher - Coachella Valley

This is a full-time field position for a concrete worker who already knows the trade end to end, from layout and forming through pour, finish, and cure. Coachella Valley work covers the full range of residential concrete, including ADU slab foundations, driveways, patios, footings, and decorative stamped finishes. Desert heat, fast cure times, and weather-driven schedules are part of the job. Pay is competitive and based on experience and specialties.

What You Will Do

Core Responsibilities
Form and prep Build and set forms, grade subbase, and place rebar and reinforcement to plan and code.
Pour and place Place and consolidate concrete for slabs, footings, driveways, and flatwork with proper slump and timing.
Finish Float, trowel, edge, broom, and detail finished surfaces to specification, including stamped and decorative work.
Cut and control joints Saw cut control joints on proper timing to prevent cracking, and tool expansion joints as required.
Cure and protect Apply curing compounds, cover, and protect fresh pours against desert heat and rapid moisture loss.
Demo and site prep Break out and remove existing concrete, stage material, and keep the site organized and safe.
Site safety and communication Maintain a clean, safe job site and communicate professionally with leads, inspectors, and homeowners.

Concrete Work You Will Do

Experience across the full residential concrete scope is helpful and in most cases required. ADU slab foundations, driveways, stamped decorative finishes, and forming with rebar placement are the highest-demand areas across our Coachella Valley projects.

Concrete Services We Install, Repair, and Replace
ADU Slab Foundations Accessory dwelling unit slab foundations including layout, forming, rebar, and finish pour to California residential code.
Driveways Driveway installation, repair, and replacement. High-volume residential work across the valley.
Foundations and Footings Spread footings, grade beams, and stem walls for additions and new residential construction.
Patios and Flatwork Backyard patios, walkways, and general flatwork. Broom, smooth, and textured finishes.
Stamped and Decorative Stamped patterns, integral and broadcast color, exposed aggregate, and salt finishes. Strong decorative experience stands out.
Forming and Rebar Layout, form building, rebar tying, and dowel placement. Clean forming separates experienced installers from the rest.
Concrete Demolition Controlled breakout and removal of existing slabs, driveways, and footings using saws, breakers, and jackhammers.
Concrete Repair Crack repair, slab leveling, and patching on existing residential concrete across Palm Springs, Palm Desert, and surrounding cities.
ADU slab, stamped decorative, and forming experience stands out. Verifiable experience in these areas significantly strengthens your application.

What We Require From You

  • Minimum 5 years of residential concrete installation and finishing experience. Hard minimum.
  • Hands-on experience across forming, pouring, and finishing, with preference for candidates who have worked on ADU slabs, driveways, stamped decorative, and footings.
  • Ability to work in desert heat, where summer pours are pushed to early morning and fast cure times require careful timing.
  • Solid understanding of mix design basics, slump, cure, rebar placement, and code requirements for residential work.
  • Physical stamina to lift 75 lbs, work on your knees, and handle extended outdoor shifts.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites across the valley.
  • Professional communication with leads, inspectors, other trades, and homeowners.

What Sets Strong Applicants Apart

  • Decorative and stamped experience. Integral color, pattern stamping, and release work at a finish-grade level moves applications to the top of the stack.
  • ADU slab foundation experience including layout, rebar, and inspection coordination.
  • Clean forming and rebar tying on footings, stem walls, and grade beams.
  • Experience running a small crew or acting as a lead finisher on residential pours.
  • Bilingual English and Spanish.
  • Fall protection training, silica awareness, or manufacturer-specific product certifications.
