Job Description

We are hiring an experienced Fence Installer to build, repair, and replace residential fencing across the Coachella Valley.

Fence Installer - Coachella Valley

This is a full-time field position for a fence installer who already knows the trade across multiple materials. Coachella Valley properties run the full range of residential fencing, from wrought iron and wood through vinyl, block wall, and chain link. Installers who thrive here can lay out a straight run, set plumb posts, weld clean joints, and finish with gates that swing true. Desert conditions, post digging in tough soil, and weather-driven schedules are part of the job. Pay is competitive and based on experience and specialties.

Build and install Install wrought iron, wood, vinyl, block wall, and chain link fencing to plan and code.
Welding and fabrication Weld wrought iron panels, gate frames, and custom sections cleanly and safely on site.
Gates and hardware Build and hang gates with proper hardware, hinges, latches, and alignment so they swing true and close cleanly.

Site safety and communication Maintain a clean, safe job site and communicate professionally with leads, homeowners, and other trades.

Fence Types You Will Build

Experience across multiple fence types is helpful and in most cases required. Wrought iron, block wall, and gate work are the areas where skilled installers are hardest to find locally.

Fencing We Install, Repair, and Replace
Wrought Iron Ornamental iron fencing, panels, and custom sections. Welding, grinding, priming, and finish painting on site.
Wood Cedar, redwood, and treated pine privacy and picket fences. Clean cuts, straight runs, and proper picket spacing.
Vinyl Pre-fabricated vinyl panel systems in privacy, semi-privacy, and picket styles common across Coachella Valley tract homes.
Block Wall Block wall construction and repair, including footing work, rebar placement, block laying, and capping. Masonry experience required for this scope.
Chain Link Galvanized and vinyl-coated chain link with proper tension, top rail, and terminal post installation.
Gates and Hardware Walk gates, drive gates, and custom fabricated gates with hinges, latches, drop rods, and hardware installed correctly the first time.
Welding and Fabrication MIG and stick welding for iron fence sections, gate frames, and on-site repairs. Clean welds are a baseline expectation.
Post Footings Concrete footing pours for fence posts, including proper depth, diameter, and cure time for desert soil conditions.
Wrought iron and block wall experience stands out. Welding and masonry skills are in steady demand and significantly strengthen your application.
