We are hiring an experienced IT Support Specialist to provide on-site and remote technology support across all divisions of Truly Tough Contractors, from day-to-day systems to web, CRM, API, and AI work that keeps the company moving forward.

IT Support Specialist - Coachella Valley

This is a full-time hybrid position for an IT generalist who can do more than keep the printers running. The role combines day-to-day IT support for office and field staff with active work on our web presence, CRM, API integrations, databases, and AI tooling. We are a growing multi-division contractor, and we use technology as a real competitive advantage. What You Will Do

Core Responsibilities

On-site IT support Troubleshoot hardware, networking, and peripheral issues across the Palm Springs office. Set up new workstations, printers, and mobile devices for office and field staff.

Remote and help desk Respond to help desk tickets, support staff remotely via screen share, and resolve software issues across Windows, macOS, and mobile platforms.

CRM administration Administer and customize GoHighLevel and other CRM tools. Build workflows, manage integrations, and train team members on best use.

Web development Build and maintain pages in Webflow plus custom HTML, CSS, and JavaScript work. Support SEO, page performance, and structured data.

API integrations Connect systems using Zapier, Make, and direct API work. Move data between CRM, calendar, phone, email, and accounting systems.

Database management Maintain customer and job data across systems. Build reports, clean data, and make sure the single source of truth stays trustworthy.

AI and automation Deploy AI tooling (ChatGPT, Claude, and similar) to automate workflows, assist with content, and reduce manual work across the business.

Mobile and app work Support mobile app development and maintenance for internal and customer-facing tools. Coordinate with external developers when required.

Technology You Will Work With

Experience across multiple tools is helpful and in most cases required. Web development, CRM administration, and API work are the skills where qualified generalists are hardest to find locally.

Tools and Platforms

IT Support Windows and macOS troubleshooting, networking (routers, access points, VPNs), printers, mobile device management, and peripheral setup.

CRM Systems GoHighLevel administration including pipelines, automations, funnels, calendar integrations, and reporting. Comparable CRM experience transfers.

Web Development Webflow design and CMS management, plus hand-coded HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for custom functionality and integrations.

API Integrations Zapier, Make, and custom API work to connect CRM, email, calendar, phone, and accounting tools into clean end-to-end workflows.

Database Management Customer and job data across CRM, spreadsheets, and cloud databases. Data cleaning, deduplication, reporting, and ongoing maintenance.

AI Tools ChatGPT, Claude, and emerging AI tools for automation, content assistance, drafting, and internal productivity gains.

Mobile Apps Support for mobile app development and maintenance. Familiarity with iOS and Android publishing workflows is a plus.

SEO and Structured Data Understanding of page SEO, JSON-LD structured data, and analytics tools including Google Search Console and Google Analytics.

CRM administration, web development, and API integration experience stands out. Hands-on experience with GoHighLevel, Webflow, and tools like Zapier or Make significantly strengthens your application.

What We Require From You

Minimum 5 years of IT support or technology generalist experience. Hard minimum.
Hands-on experience across multiple areas, with preference for IT support, CRM administration, web development, and API integration work.
Solid troubleshooting skills on both hardware and software for Windows, macOS, and mobile platforms.
Working knowledge of web development in Webflow and hand-coded HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Experience with API integrations using Zapier, Make, or direct API calls to connect systems.
Comfort with AI tools including ChatGPT, Claude, and similar tools for automation and productivity.
Clear written and verbal communication with non-technical staff across office and field teams.
Valid driver's license for occasional travel between office and field job sites.

What Sets Strong Applicants Apart

GoHighLevel administrator experience including advanced workflows, integrations, and agency-level builds.
Strong web development portfolio in Webflow or a similar platform, with examples of custom code and SEO-focused builds.
Mobile app development experience on iOS or Android, or experience coordinating with contract developers.
Scripting experience in JavaScript, Python, or similar for automation work beyond no-code tools.
Database skills including SQL, Airtable, Supabase, or Firebase for structured data work.
Experience integrating AI tools into business workflows, not just using them personally.
Bilingual English and Spanish.
Prior experience in a contractor, trades, or service business is a bonus.
