Installers who thrive here hang flat, tape straight, mud clean, and match texture well enough that the repair disappears. Pay is competitive and based on experience and specialties.

Core Responsibilities

Hang sheets Hang drywall sheets on walls and ceilings with proper fastener spacing, tight seams, and minimal butt joints.
Tape and mud Apply tape and multiple coats of joint compound on seams, corners, and fastener heads for a clean, flat finish.
Sand and prep Sand between coats and after final coat to produce a clean, dust-free surface ready for texture or paint.
Texture Apply knockdown, orange peel, smooth, skip trowel, and other finishes to match surrounding surfaces on patches or deliver fresh texture on new work.
Patch and repair Cut out and replace damaged drywall sections, repair water damage, and blend patches into existing texture so the repair disappears.
Site safety and communication Maintain a clean, safe job site, contain dust, and communicate professionally with leads, other trades, and homeowners.

Drywall Work You Will Do

Experience across the full drywall scope is helpful and in most cases required. Water damage repair, texture matching, and patch work on existing homes are the highest-volume jobs across our Coachella Valley projects.

Drywall Scopes We Install, Repair, and Replace
Hanging Drywall Standard 1/2 inch and 5/8 inch sheets on walls, ceilings, and soffits with proper fastener patterns, tight seams, and minimal butt joints.
Taping and Mudding Seam tape, corner bead, and multiple compound coats applied clean and flat for a professional finish.
Texturing Knockdown, orange peel, smooth, skip trowel, and custom textures sprayed or hand-applied to match existing surfaces.
Water Damage Repair Cut out water-damaged drywall, confirm the substrate behind is dry, and replace with matched material and finish texture.
Patch and Repair Small to large drywall patches, nail pops, cracks, and holes from removed fixtures, blended so the repair is invisible.
Ceilings and Soffits Ceiling drywall and soffit installation and repair, including smooth finish ceilings where any imperfection shows.
Corner Bead and Trim Metal and paper-faced corner bead, archways, bullnose corners, and J-bead at transitions.
Prep for Paint Final sand, clean, and prime as required so the painter can go straight to finish coats.
Texture matching and water damage repair stands out. Verifiable experience in these areas significantly strengthens your application.

What We Require From You

  • Professional communication with leads, other trades, and homeowners.
